What EA collects

EA may collect the information you send directly, including your name, organisation, business email address, website, enquiry, project materials and correspondence. Payment information is handled by the payment provider; EA does not receive your complete card details.

Why it is used

Information is used to respond to enquiries, assess or perform requested work, manage payment and records, protect legal rights, and meet legal or accounting obligations. The lawful basis will usually be steps taken at your request, performance of a contract, legitimate business interests or legal obligation.

Who receives it

Information is shared only where reasonably needed with service providers supporting email, payment, hosting or professional administration, or where disclosure is legally required. PayPal processes payment information under its own privacy terms. This site may request fonts from Google, which can receive technical information such as an IP address and browser details.

Retention and security

EA keeps information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, including contractual, accounting and legal requirements. Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used, but no internet transmission is completely risk-free.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. Email EA to exercise a right. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
