Emotional Architect ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Matt, based in the United Kingdom. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.
Who we are
Emotional Architect is a digital wellness platform available at emotionalarchitect.co.uk. You can contact us at [email protected].
What data we collect
We may collect the following when you use our site or tools:
- Email address — if you subscribe to our newsletter or contact us
- Name — if you contact us via our contact form
- Usage data — anonymised analytics about how pages are used (e.g. pages visited, time on site). This does not identify you personally.
- Tool interaction data — if you use tools like Emotion [RE]FRAME, data you enter (such as emotional states) may be stored locally in your browser via localStorage. We do not transmit this to our servers.
- Payment data — if you purchase a membership, payment is handled by a third-party processor (e.g. Stripe). We do not store your card details.
Why we collect it
- To send you updates and content you've opted into
- To respond to your messages
- To improve the site and tools
- To process payments for memberships or products
Legal basis (GDPR)
We process your data on the following legal bases:
- Consent — for email subscriptions and non-essential cookies
- Legitimate interest — for anonymised analytics to improve the site
- Contract — to fulfil a purchase you've made
How long we keep it
We keep your email address for as long as you remain subscribed. Contact form messages are kept for up to 12 months. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Third parties
We use a small number of trusted third-party services:
- Netlify — website hosting

We do not sell your data to any third party.
